Established in 1968, HVLL offers a safe, instructional and fun environment for boys and girls, ages 4-14. And while we obviously love playing baseball, we firmly believe that Little League® is so much more than simply teaching kids the fundamentals of the game. It also provides a valuable framework for teaching a host of life skills including team work, sportsmanship, how to respond to failure, how to win graciously - and perhaps most importantly - how to grow up to be responsible and thoughtful adults in their community.
 
Needless to say, league partnerships and financial sponsorships go a long way to help the more than 1,000 kids that participate in HVLL activities each year. In addition to helping keep our fees at an affordable level for our players, monetary donations allow us to provide all necessary equipment needed to run this program, maintain our facilities and provide scholarships to families who cannot afford the expense. No child is ever turned away from Little League because they are not able to pay.  Because HVLL operates exclusively as a non-profit educational organization, all donations are tax-deductible!
